Abstract

Abstract. The State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Sarayshyk" is considered one of the popular cultural centers of the Atyrau region in the republic by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1999, when the museum-reserve "Sarayshyk" was opened and began to serve the population, the museum fund numbered more than 200 exhibits. Currently, the museum-reserve fund contains 5093 material exhibits. They are divided into five scientific classification groups: archaeological, ethnographic, photo archival documents, numismatic and artistic artifacts. Most of them are very valuable and unique, because they are original. The article describes the ethnographic collections of the Saraishyk Museum-Reserve: a wooden chest for food, a wooden pillow stand, a wooden loom for embroidering carpets, donated by a resident of the village L. Zhangutova and a wooden open kitchen cabinet donated by A. Moldagalieva, a resident of the village of Kh. Ergaliev, Isatai district. The main source of ethnographic exhibits in the museum-reserve was during the republican campaign in the regions "Gifts to the Museum".
