NAURYZ IS THE GREAT HOLIDAY OF THE YEAR

Abstract

Abstract. The article examines the origins of the Nauryz holiday in connection with the organization of life and economy of the Kazakh people, describes the customs and traditions associated with Nauryz. It explains that the Nauryz holiday is based on the equinox. The concept and meaning of the name Nauryz in Kazakh folklore are revealed.

The local features of traditions, rituals and beliefs associated with the Nauryz holiday are revealed, which in general arose in connection with the idea of respect for all nature, life in unity with it, renewal and growth.

The role of the Nauryz holiday in regulating relationships between people, strengthening ethical standards, following the centuries-old way of life of our ancestors, preserving the integrity and unity of the country is emphasized. The purpose of the study is to analyze the great holiday of the year - Nauryz. In the course of studying this topic, information presented about the Nauryz holiday in the works of Kazakh poets and writers was summarized and analyzed. This is a common holiday for both Kazakh and other nomadic Turkic peoples. This study will undoubtedly help preserve and develop national values, especially among today's young generation.
