ORGANIZING MUSEUM CIRCLE WORK TO PROMOTE HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE: BASED ON THE EXPERIENCE OF THE AZRET SULTAN MUSEUM-RESERVE

Abstract. The article considers the importance of organizing club activities in museums in promoting historical and cultural heritage. The organization of club activities for schoolchildren in the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Azret Sultan" from October 2024 to February 2025 is studied. The article analyzes the methods and techniques of museum pedagogy, the effectiveness of additional educational programs, and the features of short-term club classes in the museum-reserve. The results of the study contribute to the development of new approaches aimed at increasing the role of museums in the field of education and culture, and promoting historical and cultural heritage.
The object of the study was the work of the club organized for students at the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Azret Sultan". Club classes are held mainly among schoolchildren depending on their age: students of grades 7-8; students of grades 9-10 were divided into two groups. Group classes, which are held systematically on the basis of a pre-approved thematic plan, consist of theoretical and practical parts. It provides information about the history, past and present of archaeological sites that are part of the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Azret Sultan", information about the history of Turkestan and other monuments of the region. Classes are held in separate groups, each of which consists of 8-10 students. The work of the club was organized in students' free time, and in 2024, the first recruitment to the "Young Archaeologist" and "Young Restorer" clubs among schoolchildren was carried out.
