Abstract

Abstract. The article is about singer Ali Kurmanov, who has made his mark in the culture and arts of the Kazakh people with his unique singing voice, artistic talent, and unique skill in perfoming songs. This article discusses the singer's achievements in the field of singing and art, and his place in the field of culture.

His repertoire included folk songs sush as “Aldi-au”, “Susar-ai”, “Moldabai”, “Sumbil shash”, “On alty kyz”, songs of folk composers. He played the role of the poet Kabyl in A. Zhubanova's “Sary”. During the Great Patriotic War, he gave a concert for the soldiers of the North-Western Front. He composed songs for the poets Mukhit, Kyzyl, Batak Sary and Karshygaly. He was a singer who widely promoted Kazakh art.

Singer Ali Kurmanov perfomed Kazakh songs in his own style, has done a great job in promoting Kazakh art all around the world. In particular, he never tired of touring and introducing Kazakh songs to representatives of other nationalities in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Karakalpakstan, and even Moscow during the Soviet Union. He was one of the leading figures in promoting Kazakh art to the world. As a result of his tireless work, he received the title of «Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR», one of the highest honors of art.
