Abstract. The Military Art of the Turks is a unique and multifaceted system of military organization, tactics, and strategy that developed over many centuries – from the nomadic peoples of ancient Central Asia to the formation of powerful states such as the Seljuk and Ottoman Empires. The Turks distinguished by their exceptional skills in warfare, and it was the military art that became the foundation of their strength and victorious campaigns.
Discipline and organized structure played a significant role in Turkish military affairs. Khagans and sultans often personally led military campaigns, raising the army's morale and inspiring warriors to victory. The Turkish army divided into various units – infantry, cavalry, archers, and others, that allowed the effective coordination of different forces on the battlefield. Thus, the military art of the Turks left a profound mark on world history. Its key characteristics were high mobility, effective use of cavalry and siege machines, and army cohesion, became an integral part of medieval military culture. All of this contributed to the expansion of Turkish empires and the formation of powerful states in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The study of the military history of modern Turks opens the way to a new understanding of their role in world history. The Turks, as a large ethnic and cultural group, have had a significant influence on the formation of many states and civilizations. Their military art and political strategy formed the basis of military traditions that are still preserved and developed in modern armies. It is important to remember that the military art of the Turks is not only the history of wars and battles, but also the history of cultural exchange, interaction and connections between civilizations.
