Abstract

The article considers the numismatic complex of the IV Starokuibyshev settlement. The total number of finds dating back to the XIII period of the first quarter of the XIV century is 56 copies, of which 48 coins are copper dinars with the name of Caliph an-Nasir. It is important and interesting to study the copper coins of Bulgar with the name of the late Caliph an-Nasir li-din Allah. The coins are anonymous in relation to the ruling Genghisid dynasty. They often happen without specifying the year, and sometimes the name of the mint. They were minted in both silver and copper in many mints of the medieval Mongol Empire until the early 660s/1260s. Comparison of histograms of the weight of coins from the Starokuybyshev settlement, the Bulgarian settlement and the Semenovsky settlement indicates equivalent processes in the monetary circulation of the Bulgarian and the villages from the Bulgarian district. A summary of the finds of copper dirhams of the Great Seljuk dynasty is given.

Materials and methods of research. The material for the article was silver and copper coins of the XIII-XIV centuries, found at the IV Starokuibyshev village and stored in museums in Tatarstan. Research methods - topographic and metrological.
