Abstract

The publication is dedicated to isolated finds of Golden Horde coins, broken in the Bulgar vilayat, accidentally discovered in the vicinity of Bolgar (Tatarstan) and recorded by the authors. 30 silver dirhams are included. As a result of the study, it was established that among them there are coins with the name of the Bulgar and Bilyar mints and without indicating the name of the coin production. All copies refer to issues from the second half of the 13th – first third of the 14th century. These are dirhams and fractions minted under the first rulers of the Jochid Khanate - Mengu-Timur, Tuda-Mengu, co-ruler Kunchek, as well as anonymous undated coins of the last quarter of the 13th - first quarter of the 14th century. Many rare types of coins have been discovered. Moreover, an increase in the statistics of the number of copies of each type of coin, combined with information about their weight characteristics, made it possible in some cases to detect a mode (the weight value at which the maximum number of coins of a given type is observed). We do not know the exact coordinates of the finds of these two studied complexes, however, the co-presence of several rare specimens of the same type in each of the collections is useful information for further study of the features of Bulgarian monetary circulation in the 13th – early 14th centuries.
